5th Grade Picnic Meeting

Box Tops



Castle Rock Elementary School proudly continues the Box Tops for Education fundraising campaign. This year the school has set a goal of earning $1635 through Box Tops to purchase playground equipment and classroom toys for rainy days.  Last year, our school earned $1362.


”Box Tops for Education” is a school fundraising program started by General Mills in 1996. To date, Box Tops has helped America’s schools raise over $300 million to buy things they need but can’t always afford, such as art supplies, rainy day recess games, PE / sports equipment.

School supporters can earn cash for their favorite school with Box Tops through everyday activities such as buying groceries, shopping online and buying books. Schools can earn a total of up to $80,000 each year.

Here are two ways you can help:

• Clip Box Tops from hundreds of favorite products and send them to Mirela Golonka, Box Tops Coordinator, at Castle Rock Elementary School, 2975 Castle Rock Road, Diamond Bar, CA 91765.  For every 30 un-expired boxtops turned into the school, you get 1 Smencil!

   • Sign up to help Castle Rock Elementary School on the Box Tops
   website at btfe.com  and then:
•          Shop online: Castle Rock Elementary will earn up to 15% of qualifying purchases when you shop at over 100 popular online stores at the Box Tops Marketplace®.
•          Buy books: Castle Rock Elementary School will earn up to 6% of purchases made online at Barnes & Noble through the Box Tops Reading RoomSM

The WVUSD Child Care Department is offering a Spring Break Day Camp.  Please read the flyer above for more info.  This year's Spring Break is April 1-5, 2013.

Parent Volunteer Application



Thank you the numerous volunteers on our Castle Rock Campus who help in so many ways!  Also, thank you for completing the Volunteer Clearance Process and proudly wearing your Volunteer Badges.

If you would still like to volunteer at school, chaperon a field trip, assist at your class party, etc., after your first time, you will need to:

1) complete the Parent Volunteer Application
2) obtain a TB Test
3) present your driver's license

Please coordinate your Volunteer Clearance with the school's front office.

2012-2013 Yearbook Pre-Sale


Order your 2012-2013 Castle Rock Year Book!  We are now taking pre-sale orders for ONLY $22.  In order to offer the year books for a very low price, we are only accepting pre-sale orders with a very limited supply available for purchase afterwards.

ALL ORDERS MUST BE TURNED IN BY FRIDAY, MARCH 29, 2013.
